Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Comes Up Short

Maricopa lost against Cuyama Valley on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians lost 3-0 to the Bears.

The final score came out to 25-2, 25-12, 25-11.

Maricopa's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cuyama Valley, their victory ended a nine-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Maricopa is set to take on their familiar foe Shandon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cuyama Valley will square off against rival Valley Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
