Volleyball Game Preview: Wasatch Academy Tigers vs. Juab Wasps

The Wasatch Academy Tigers will head out to face off against the Juab Wasps at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Wasatch Academy sitting on three straight victories and Juab on four.

Wasatch Academy took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Dugway, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since April 25, 2024.

Wasatch Academy got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 31-33, 25-22, 21-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Juab made easy work of Roy on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Juab's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Wasatch Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-13.

Wasatch Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Juab when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
