Truman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Blue Springs Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2019.
