Volleyball Game Preview: Wilson Central Wildcats vs. Riverdale Warriors + How To Watch

The Wilson Central Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Riverdale Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Riverdale took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Wilson Central, who comes in off a win.

Wilson Central took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Smyrna by a score of 3-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Riverdale came up short against Blackman on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Riverdale was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-17.

Wilson Central will have to contain Bre Putnam as she made an impact in Riverdale's last game. She had nine digs and one assist.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Wilson Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

Wilson Central couldn't quite get it done against Riverdale in their previous matchup back in September of 2022 as they fell 2-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
