Soccer Recap: Ellicott Starts Season with Loss at Home

Ellicott unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Colorado Springs Christian Lions on Thursday, falling 7-0. The loss continues a trend for Ellicott in their meetings with Colorado Springs Christian: they've now lost four in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ellicott is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Thomas MacLaren School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colorado Springs Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Front Range Christian at 10:30 a.m. on September 6.
