Football Recap: San Carlos Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Globe, San Carlos was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Desert Christian Eagles a 16-0 shutout.

San Carlos pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points on average over those games. As for Desert Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Carlos will square off against Red Mesa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Desert Christian, they will challenge Madison Highland Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
