Soccer Game Preview: West Fork vs. Dayton

The West Fork Gators are taking a road trip to square off against the Dayton Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Fork's offense. They fell 2-0 to Crosby on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, West Fork can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 599th, while Crosby are ranked 260th).

Meanwhile, Dayton also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Crosby by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

West Fork's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for Dayton, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1-3 and their overall record down to 9-4-5.
