Basketball Recap: Southwest Christian Takes a Loss

Southwest Christian suffered their biggest defeat since January 25, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by Mannahouse Christian Academy 66-25. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Wildcats' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Southwest Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for Mannahouse Christian Academy, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-3.

Coming up, Southwest Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Valor Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mannahouse Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Portland Waldorf at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mannahouse Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Portland Waldorf likes a good challenge.
