Softball Game Preview: Sheldon Orabs vs. South O'Brien Wolverines

The Sheldon Orabs are taking a road trip to challenge the South O'Brien Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheldon has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sheldon lost 14-6 to Sioux Center on Monday. The Orabs haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, South O'Brien entered their tilt with George-Little Rock on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Mustangs.

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for South O'Brien, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Sheldon suffered a grim 15-7 defeat to South O'Brien in their previous matchup back in June of 2025. Can the Orabs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
