Softball Recap: Oconto Falls Comes Up Short

Oconto Falls lost to Freedom on April 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Irish, falling 19-10.

Amelia Danielczak and Delaney McNichols did some serious damage despite the final result: Danielczak went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while McNichols went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. That stolen base was Danielczak's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Izzy Otto, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

Oconto Falls now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Freedom, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oconto Falls will challenge rival Denmark at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Freedom is set to face off against their familiar foe Wrightstown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
