After a string of eight wins, Kettle Moraine's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 62-52 to the Edgerton Crimson Tide. The Lasers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Tide apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Kettle Moraine's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4. As for Edgerton, their victory was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Kettle Moraine and Edgerton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Kettle Moraine (ranked 25th) will meet Oconomowoc (ranked 107th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Edgerton will face off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday up 280 places (39 vs. 319).
