Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hinton). They walked away with a 65-54 victory over the Crescent Tigers on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Crescent's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinity Webster, who went 10-for-19 to rack up 22 points. Webster's morning made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Rylee Alexander was another key player, going 7-for-11 en route to 15 points and six rebounds.

Hinton's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Crescent, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

As of now, neither Hinton nor Crescent have any future games scheduled.
