Volleyball Game Preview: Sutherland Sailors vs. Hershey Panthers

Sutherland hasn't had much luck against Hershey recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sailors will welcome the Panthers.

Sutherland lost 3-0 to Sandhills/Thedford on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Hershey got the win against Loomis on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Hershey's got stronger as the match went on, holding Loomis to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-12.

Sutherland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Hershey, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Everything went Sutherland's way against Hershey in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Sutherland made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Sailors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
