Basketball Recap: Crawford County Comes Up Short

Crawford County and Paoli squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Crawford County had to settle for second. They lost 54-33 to the Paoli Rams. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost eight in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Crawford County lost, don't look at Blake Seibert. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 16 boards. Lucas Cox also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Crawford County's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Paoli, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-2.

Crawford County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paoli, they will challenge Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Paoli is facing Eastern at the right time seeing as Eastern is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
