Archbishop Alter had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bellbrook Golden Eagles on Friday. The game was the first time Archbishop Alter have beaten Bellbrook on their pitch since October 30, 2018.

Paige Sheets and Atuganile Mwamukonda scored all three of Archbishop Alter's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Alter is taking a road trip to square off against Centerville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bellbrook, they will host Sidney at 7:15 p.m. on the 25th.
