Soccer Recap: Immokalee Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Immokalee kept a clean sheet against LaBelle on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Cowboys/Cowgirls are ranked 334th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Benslove St. Julien and Yoel Barrera scored both of Immokalee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Immokalee's victory bumped their record up to 13-4-1. As for LaBelle, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Immokalee nor LaBelle have any future games scheduled.
