Volleyball Recap: Osceola's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Osceola and Plant squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Osceola had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Kowboys' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Osceola took Plant into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 15-10.

Cate Palmi paced Osceola's offense, picking up 30 kills. Palmi got some help from Delaney Webb and her 57 assists.

Osceola's defeat dropped their record down to 26-5. As for Plant, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Osceola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plant, they will venture away from home to square off against Winter Park at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
