Baseball Game Preview: Christian Brothers Falcons vs. Ponderosa Bruins

For the second straight game, Christian Brothers will face off against Ponderosa. Christian Brothers will welcome Ponderosa at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian Brothers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Ponderosa's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Thursday, Christian Brothers earned a 6-3 win over Ponderosa. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Dre Lee and Alex Bustamante dominated on the mound. Lee pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits, while Bustamante pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Christian Brothers is undefeated when Lee allowstwo or fewer earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Henry Ramsey was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Mikey Horan, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Christian Brothers was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Ponderosa is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7. As for Christian Brothers, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
