Volleyball Game Preview: Shadow Ridge Mustangs vs. Palo Verde Panthers

After both having extra time off, the Shadow Ridge Mustangs and the Palo Verde Panthers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Shadow Ridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Foothill, who was ranked 12th at the time (Shadow Ridge was ranked eighth). The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Falcons on Saturday. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Palo Verde also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Arbor View by a score of 2-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Aggies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Shadow Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Palo Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
