Football Game Preview: Coloma Comets vs. Lawton Blue Devils + How To Watch

Coloma hasn't had much luck against Lawton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Comets will challenge the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Coloma will be strutting in after a victory while Lawton will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Coloma made easy work of Kellogg and carried off a 28-7 win.

Meanwhile, Lawton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 18-14 to Schoolcraft. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Lawton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brayden Russell and Wyatt Streeter.

Lawton's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Coloma, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-3.

Coloma took a serious blow against Lawton in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 36-6. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Comets were down 29-6.
