Softball Recap: Carlisle County Takes a Loss

Carlisle County fell victim to Graves County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 13-0. If the Comets were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Carlisle County and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Graves County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlisle County will host South Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carlisle County is facing South Fulton at the right time seeing as South Fulton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Graves County, they will welcome Mayfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Graves County is on an eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Mayfield a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
