Soccer Game Preview: Camelback vs. South Mountain

Camelback and South Mountain are an even 3-3-1 against one another since January of 2016, but likely not for long. The Camelback Spartans will challenge the South Mountain Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Camelback lost 4-1 to Desert Ridge on Friday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, South Mountain came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Monsoon with a sharp 7-1 win. That six goal margin sets a new team best for the Jaguars this season.

South Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Camelback, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
