Football Game Preview: Cascade Bruins vs. Kamiak Knights

Cascade hasn't had much luck against Kamiak recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bruins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Cascade has given up an average of 53.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cascade's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Glacier Peak on Friday. They were beaten by the Grizzlies 58-0. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kamiak). They secured a 22-18 W over Mariner on Friday.

A big part of Kamiak's win came down to the chemistry between Conner Maxwell and his top target Jaden Sung. Maxwell threw for 173 yards and one TD while Sung picked up 78 receiving yards and one score.

Kamiak's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Cascade, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
