Basketball Recap: Milford Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Dillon Grimes and Camron Arington

Milford lost against Turpin back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Milford Eagles took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Turpin Spartans.

Milford's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Camron Arington, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points, and Dillon Grimes, who posted nine points and seven boards. The matchup was Arington's third in a row with at least 15 points. Sloan Gormley was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Milford has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Turpin, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.

Coming up, Milford will head out on the road to challenge Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Turpin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
