Softball Recap: Tartan Titans vs. South St. Paul Packers

Tartan extended their losing streak to 12 on Monday, dropping their season record down to 1-13 in the process. They came up short against the South St. Paul Packers, falling 11-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Packers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 back in April.

Sydney Fearing made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one run. Izzy Shodin was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

As for South St. Paul, they now have a winning record of 7-6. Considering they have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

On South St. Paul's side, Julia Bebeau made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up three earned runs off ten hits. The dominant performance also gave Bebeau a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
