Carson had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Spanish Springs Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Senators have posted since October 15, 2024.

Abby Franco paced Carson's offense, picking up nine kills. Franco got some help from Addi McCune and her 13 assists. Emma Sanders controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Carson's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Spanish Springs, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.

Carson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against McQueen on the 26th. As for Spanish Springs, they will challenge Douglas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
