Baseball Recap: St. Paul's Comes Up Short

St. Paul managed to slip by Vermont Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Big Red lost 7-1 to the Wildcats on Friday. The Big Red were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Vermont Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Coming up, St. Paul's will venture away from home to challenge Holderness at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Vermont Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Deerfield Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
