Carolina M has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls at 5:00 p.m. Cristo Rey Research Triangle took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Carolina M, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Carolina M took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 51-22 win over Haw River Christian Academy. The victory was just what Carolina M needed coming off of a 56-31 loss in their prior contest.
Carolina M can attribute much of their success to Abigail Faison, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Faison has scored at least 25% of Carolina M's points. Another player making a difference was Rivkah Lloyd, who scored 4 points along with 9 steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Cristo Rey Research Triangle, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They were dealt a 56-15 loss at the hands of Neuse Christian Academy on Tuesday. Cristo Rey Research Triangle was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-3.
Faith Christian's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Carolina M's defeat dropped theirs to 3-2.
