Baseball Recap: Soper Starts Season with Win Against Buffalo Valley

Soper gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Buffalo Valley Buffaloes with a sharp 9-1 win.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Soper will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Milburn at 4:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Buffalo Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Smithville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
