Volleyball Recap: Temecula Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Temecula Prep lost to San Jacinto Valley Academy back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Temecula Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.

Jaylan Vergara had a dynamite gamefor San Jacinto Valley Academy, getting 32 digs and two assists. Vergara is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games he's played dating back to last season.

Temecula Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.
