Basketball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Whitehall's Winning Streak

After flying high against Louis E. Dieruff last Tuesday, Whitehall came back down to earth. The Whitehall Zephyrs took a hard 57-42 fall against the Parkland Trojans on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Zephyrs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Trojans are ranked 137th).

With the loss, Whitehall broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-4. As for Parkland, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Whitehall will be playing at home against William Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkland, they will head out on the road to square off against Allentown Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
