8A District 12 recap November 5, 2013
Cypress Bay was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to third in 8A District 12. Earlier in the week, the Lightning defeated McArthur 37-14.
Miramar extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Cooper City, 60-0. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Patriots.
Miramar's Nick Jeanty and Kahlil Lewis have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Jeanty has thrown for 1,287 yards this season, while Lewis has 24 catches for 370 yards. Jarrett Morgan from the Cowboys leads the league in rushing with 695 yards.
Damon Cogdell's team took down Cooper City 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
