Basketball Game Preview: Cousino Patriots vs. Fraser Ramblers

The Cousino Patriots will square off against the Fraser Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cousino will be strutting in after a win while Fraser will be coming in after a defeat.

Cousino is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 76-65 victory over L'Anse Creuse on Monday.

Meanwhile, Fraser came up short against Anchor Bay on Thursday and fell 50-43.

Fraser has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Cousino, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Cousino was able to grind out a solid win over Fraser in their previous matchup on January 9th, winning 59-52. Will Cousino repeat their success, or does Fraser have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
