Soccer Recap: Coronado Triumphs

Coronado kept a clean sheet against Mt. Carmel on Friday. They came out on top against the Mt. Carmel Sundevils by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Islanders, who suffered a 4-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Mt. Carmel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coronado will challenge Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Carmel, they will square off against Fallbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
