Basketball Recap: Canfield Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Canfield ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They escaped with a win against the Austintown-Fitch Falcons by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Austintown-Fitch lost, don't look at Marcel Finkley. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 12 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Owens, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points.
