Baseball Recap: Trinity Falls to Hancock County in First Game of Season

Trinity unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-9 to the Hancock County Hornets on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 13-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Wade Burch made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will challenge Warren Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hancock County, they will head out to challenge Madisonville-North Hopkins at 5:30 p.m. on March 18th.
