Softball Recap: Mount Miguel Matadors vs. Monte Vista Monarchs
Mount Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 20-11 to the Monte Vista Monarchs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mount Miguel of the 7-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Aiyanna Sinsay was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lucy Talbot, who went 4-for-4 with three RBI.
Mount Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Monte Vista, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16.
