Softball Preview: Bernalillo Spartans vs. West Las Vegas Dons
Bernalillo is 8-0 against West Las Vegas since April of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Bernalillo Spartans will head out on the road to take on the West Las Vegas Dons at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Tuesday, Bernalillo got the win against Valley by a conclusive 17-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for Bernalillo.
Meanwhile, West Las Vegas had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.4 runs), and they went ahead and made it 12 on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 17-3 margin over the Horsemen.
West Las Vegas got a massive performance out of Alexis Pacheco, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Matea Griego was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
