Soccer Game Preview: Alief Taylor vs. George Ranch

Alief Taylor is on a four-game streak of home losses, and George Ranch a seven-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Alief Taylor Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the George Ranch Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Alief Taylor came up short against Strake Jesuit and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 589th, while the Fighting Crusaders are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for George Ranch's offense. They came up short against Fulshear on Saturday, falling 4-0.

George Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Alief Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
