Recap: Aleknagik Lakers vs. Koliganek Huskies
Sadly, the Aleknagik Lakers are still looking for their first win of the season after four contests. They had to suffer through a rough 48-15 loss at the hands of Koliganek. Aleknagik has struggled against Koliganek recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Koliganek got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristan Goodell out in front who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goodell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Asante Barnes, who scored 13 points.
Aleknagik's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Koliganek, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.
Aleknagik does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Koliganek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 87-83 victory vs. Manokotak on the 10th.
