Baseball Recap: Satellite Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Satellite couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-0 to the Key West Conchs on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Conchs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-5 loss on Tuesday.

Satellite has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-9 record this season. As for Key West, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-10.

Satellite does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Key West, they are taking a road trip to square off against American Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Conchs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
