Basketball Recap: Calvary Academy Lions vs. DasCHE Spartans
Calvary Academy lost a close one when they played last Tuesday but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on Friday was a bit more commanding. They were outmatched by the DasCHE Spartans at home and fell 65-35. The Lions were down 52-24 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead DasCHE to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jadon Comeaux, who went 5 for 10 en route to 14 points plus two steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Moses Obudo, who posted ten points plus six rebounds and three steals.
Calvary Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for DasCHE, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Calvary Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mercy Culture Prep at 7:30 p.m. on December 3rd. As for DasCHE, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Prince of Peace at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
