            Basketball Recap: Fishers Tigers vs. Jeffersonville Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Fishers couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were just a bucket shy of victory  on Saturday and fell  67-66 to the Jeffersonville Red Devils. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Tigers came into the  contest with a sizable advantage  in MaxPreps' national basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Red Devils are ranked 70th).

 Fishers' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Justin Kirby, who  shot 64% from the field to rack up 15 points. The  matchup was  Kirby's third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was  Jason Gardner, who  posted 15  points and five  assists.
  Tre Singleton had another great game (as  he tends to do),  going 12-for-20  on his way to 26 points and six  rebounds for Jeffersonville. Singleton is also on a roll when it comes to  shooting accuracy, as he's  posted one of at least 50% in the last 12 games he's  played.  Michael Cooper was another key player,  putting up 15  points and three  steals.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Fishers  fell to 30-1. As for Jeffersonville, the  win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 24-5.
As of now, neither Fishers nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
