Calais is 8-2 against Lee Academy since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Calais Blue Devils will square off against the Lee Academy Pandas at 6:30 p.m. Calais has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-2 during that stretch of close contests.

Last Friday, Calais was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to Jonesport-Beals.

Meanwhile, Lee Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Stearns on Monday, taking the game 62-54.

Lee Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Calais, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Calais came out on top in a nail-biter against Lee Academy when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 53-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calais since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
