Baseball Game Preview: Chaminade Red Devils vs. St. Louis University Junior Bills

For the second straight game, Chaminade will face off against St. Louis University. The Red Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Junior Bills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Chaminade and St. Louis University, and St. Louis University kept the tradition alive. The Red Devils took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Junior Bills on Tuesday. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Junior Bills recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Chaminade saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Wohlstadter, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

St. Louis University has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Chaminade, their loss dropped their record down to 3-20.
