Softball Recap: St. Amant Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

St. Amant won the last time they faced Sulphur and things went their way on Saturday too. St. Amant's pitchers stepped up to hand Sulphur a 3-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

St. Amant's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sulphur, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

St. Amant has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against West Ouachita on the 22nd. As for Sulphur, they will take on New Iberia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sulphur is facing New Iberia at the right time seeing as New Iberia is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
