Softball Recap: Panther Creek Takes a Loss

Panther Creek and Sanger squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Panther Creek had to settle for second. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Madison Campbell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Panther Creek's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Sanger, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7-3 record this season.

While Panther Creek had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
