St. Pius X had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Webb City Cardinals by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Lancers, who have now won six matchups in a row.

St. Pius X was led to victory by Harper Gass and Sadie Archer. Gass had nine digs and two assists, while Archer had eight digs.

St. Pius X was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive contests.
