Baseball Recap: Mosley Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mosley can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lincoln Trojans by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Mosley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Harless, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Mosley's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Lincoln, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-9.

Mosley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Columbia on the 23rd. As for Lincoln, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Ponte Vedra on the 23rd.
