Football Recap: Claxton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Claxton had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-5 to make it five. They were beaten by the Jenkins County War Eagles 49-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 42-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Jenkins County, they now have a winning record of 3-2. The match marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Among those leading the charge was Justin Wright, who rushed for 46 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 31 yards and one TD.
